Petronas Refinery and Petrochemical Corporation

Solar installation on oil and gas roofs presents unique challenges due to stringent fire safety requirements. Oil and gas facilities demand all materials to meet a Class A fire rating, making it difficult to find solar structure providers whose materials comply. Consequently, many providers hesitate to invest in the costly and time-consuming certification process.

However, we stand apart by going the extra mile to ensure seamless integration of renewable energy into the oil and gas industry without compromising safety standards. Our solar structures undergo rigorous testing according to UL 1703.2014 Section 16 and 31.2 to achieve a Class A rating, making them readily suitable for installation on oil and gas rooftops.

Our client, Ditrolic Solar, recognises and appreciates the engineering efforts we bring to the table. They have approached us with trust. We effectively tackled a significant challenge for Petronas’ largest SELCO project, which entailed deploying a 49.3 MWp solar array in 2021. This endeavour now marks Malaysia’s most extensive SELCO solar plant to date.
