The CWT Mega Logistics hub in Singapore serves as a premier integrated warehouse and depot facility. It stands out as one of Singapore’s pioneering logistic hubs to integrate solar technology, a feature that was incorporated into its design phase and meticulously executed to ensure significant reduction in carbon footprint alongside its clients. With a towering height exceeding 110 meters, concerns arose regarding wind load impacts on the solar ballasted system. The client, adamant about avoiding any penetrations, faced reluctance from contractors due to the risks associated with waterproofing a newly constructed building. However, leveraging our expertise in ballasted solar structures coupled with local engineering prowess, we confidently assured the client of minimal risk. Through our advanced solar software and collaboration with reputable local engineering firms, we not only mitigated additional risks but also streamlined the solar installation process to less than 9 working weeks, enabling the seamless transition towards sustainable energy solutions.
